What data we collect

When you request Chapter 1 of the book, we collect the following information through the form on this site:

• Your first name
• Your email address
• Your country of residence
• Your relationship to the topic (parent, partner, family member, friend, child, or professional)

We do not collect payment information, sensitive personal data, or any data beyond what you voluntarily provide in the form.

Why we collect it and the legal basis

We collect your data for one purpose: to send you Chapter 1 of the book and, with your explicit consent, occasional follow-up emails about the book, related content, and coaching services.

The legal basis for this processing is consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give consent by ticking the checkbox on the form before submitting. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.

How we use your data

• To deliver Chapter 1 of the book to your inbox
• To send you follow-up emails about the book, the author's work, and coaching services
• To understand, in aggregate, where our readers are located and who they are

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for any purpose other than direct communication with you.

Who processes your data

Your data is stored and processed by the following third parties, all of whom are GDPR compliant:

• Brevo (Sendinblue) — our email marketing platform, based in France. Brevo stores your contact details and manages email delivery. Brevo's privacy policy is available at brevo.com.
• Cloudflare — our website hosting provider and serverless function operator. Cloudflare processes form submissions in transit but does not store your personal data. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com.

No other third parties receive your personal data.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as you remain subscribed to our email list. If you unsubscribe, your contact record is removed from active lists. You can also request complete deletion of your data at any time by emailing us directly.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data at any time
• Right to portability — you can request your data in a portable format
• Right to withdraw consent — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us directly
• Right to lodge a complaint — if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you can file a complaint with Spain's data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD)

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies. We do not use analytics tools, tracking pixels, or any third-party scripts that collect behavioral data. The only external script loaded is Mailcheck.js, which runs entirely in your browser and does not send any data to external servers — it only checks for common email typos locally.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
